The Switchers, a community of green entrepreneurs, will be making waves at the upcoming Arab SMEs Summit 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco. Taking place from December 12th to 14th, this three-day event will bring together stakeholders from across the Arab world to discuss key themes like scaling up, promoting Arab technologies, and accessing finance.
Medwaves, the UNEP/MAP Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production, is organizing the third edition of “The Switchers Talks” as part of the summit. This hybrid two hour event, accessible online and in person, will showcase The Switchers Community, and its mission. It will present also a unique opportunity for Switchers to connect with potential investors, fellow entrepreneurs, and other key players in the green economy. The event will take place at Roseraie Hall, Hotel Rotana Palemraie Golf, Marrakech at 14:30-16:30.
On the first session, some Switchers will take the stage to share their inspiring entrepreneurial journeys. Additionally, newly incubated green startups like Safeancleanjo, Brain signal wheelchair, Ultra Biotech, EnviSpec, MADA KIDS, TADWIR, and DigiFirm will be sharing their ideas and experiences. This session aims to highlight the potential of green businesses and the impact of The Switchers network.
The second session will focus on “Access to Finance for Green Entrepreneurs.” Financial actors like AlfanarVP, Prima, HappySmala, and CTPES will provide valuable insights into current and upcoming funding opportunities available in the region.
Moroccan Switchers are encouraged to join this event in-person to gain more visibility, connect and access funding.
